What do you think of him?
So far I've seen Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine and I thought they were very interesting and insightful.
But on the other hand, were the very accurate? I know the films are Propaganda, but to what extent? Where is the line, where does he start bending the truth?

Half of what he goes on about is complete lies and bulls***. I mean I am left wing, but he's just forming opinions and making up evidence about it with often no grounding in truth.

I personally think he does more to hinder the left than help it. It makes people think that all left-wing people are completely full of bulls***.

alot of his opinions are interesting and valid,
the fact that he feels the need to support them with ill considered facts is irratating.

he feels like that friend that sees a documentary on a subject and runs around quoting it while not fully understanding the subject matter.
only he's making the documentary

at the same time, generally i think he does good work i guess, but there's far more interesting documentary makers out there that should be getting this kind notice and credit.

its all really sensationalist.
the 'left' or whatever needs him about as much as the right needs ann coulter

...well thats a bit harsh.

I'll start by saying that I enjoy watching Mr. Moore's films and yes I am what you would call a Liberal. I find his films interesting, entertaining..
But is everything he says/puts into his films true? No.
I do mean yes the things said in the many interviews he does are said by the actual people but alot of what they say and how it's said is taken out of original context to fit into the thesis of his current work.
Just like as if you were a student writing an essay proving a thesis, he will put in all the "facts" that prove his point of view that he is trying to show his audience.
Anyone watching his(or any documentaries along these lines) looking to make an opinion of the subject based on what they see isn't going to be given all the facts and truths.

I think he brings attention to alot of important issues that face the world today, but anyone watching needs to keep in mind it's coming from just one person's point of view. Yes many people are in his films talking of their experieces, but as I said before.. it's all put in to the final edit to fit the context HE wants.

I have a good head on my shoulders and am able to make up my own mind based on more than what I am merely showed in a film. I will always remember what a teacher of mine in college told us: "There's always three sides to every story. His side, the other guys side & the truth. We mostly never know the truth so we as our own peoples need to be the judge of what to believe."

i think michael moore raises awareness of important issues encouraging people to think and question sure there are many conspirators but not many get through mainstream media
regardless of wether you agree with him or not he battled for years to get his thoughts out to the minorities he never gave up

i was given a book of his many years ago 'stupid whiteman' dont think its on dvd it touches on many issues like politicians who have majority shares in the motor industry corporations inc- car manufacture and petroleum companies the push to gain oil
what i dont understand is why do americans allow their country to spend so much money on war when you cannot afford to look after your sick you can afford war but you have no money for medical i havent seen michael moores new doco 'sicko' but im lookin forward to it
