Egyptian "John Doe" identified after more than 100 years.

The mummy of Hapshetsut has been identified after a one year research
with the help of CT scans and DNA testing. The female Pharao
Hatshepsut governed Egypt after the death of her husband (who was
also halfbrother to her) Pharao Tutmosis II. from 1502 to 1482 before
Christ. The mummy had been found already back in 1903 by Howard
Carter (UK) in the valley of kings, but only now its importance has
been recognized.
