I think that people should have the right to do drugs if they wish. I think if you drink booze and disagree with that your a hippocrite.

So drinking a glass of wine with dinner is the same as smoking crack?

if you stop at one glass then its no different than doing enough crack to stay up.
Crack, haha.. speed has been used my the military for along time to keep pilots amped up.. I guess its okay for them to do their speed, and take a glass of wine along for the ride.

If you choose to drink one glass of wine then you probably have enough selfcontrol to never have a drug problem. If you drink 3 bottles of wine and want to drive, personally i would rather you did some crack.

the choice is with the people. I have a problem with alot of the older crowd that grow into better people, and then want to force that on their kids. sure they know, they have experience, but they are denying that experience to the youth. Not only do they have the right to experiment, if they are denied that right, they will just take it.
We can't control the world, that is just pushing your beliefs on others.

so basically if you support wine, then your supporting drugs to me.
I like wine, but hate crack(makes my ribs show)

I don't need to experiment with jumping off a bridge to know it's going to hurt. I learned that watching some other fool do it. I don't need to experiment with drugs to know they will screw my life up. I learned that from some fool who did that.

Yes, there are things that nearly every child is going to want to and perhaps even need to experiment with to learn a life lesson. However, why can't a child learn from his parents mistakes? Isn't that what parents are for? My mother and father come from two different denominations and it put a great strain on our family. I don't need to marry someone who has a different set of beleifs to learn that it will put a strain on my family. I learned from their mistakes. I also learned however that obstacles can be overcome; they have been married for almost 30 years.

I agree with you, if its possible kids should learn from their parents.

My family was messed up.. so not much to learn...

I am serious though about the parents that used to party when they were kids, but don't want their kids too. This must be a theme for me. I would rather a person/kid could talk to me without fear, than face trouble.

i have jumped off several bridges...
my mother was married to my father for 26 years(approximate) until he died on march 31 1998..

i know a guy that failed college because he did alot of speed, and failed all his classes because he didn't go to his finals, and is now one of the most talked about and succesful student stories at school. I won't mention his name(respect) it is true though...
