Why does the Windows gang of people hate Apple Computers? They're practically the same, just a diffrent OS. And now that Intel is getting in Apple's family photo they have designed a Gadget called Boot Camp (I think) that lets you run on the Windows OS AND the Mac OS. So what do they have to hate? Plus, the majority of the population has an iPod!

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have been sworen enemies since University, the both used to be really good friends but Steve accused Bill of stealing some software back when they were both just starting out and it's been some big competition since

I can't work without an Apple...

Macs are the best thing to have been created for the design world. At least to me.

Rule of law states

Apple Computer: Expensive notepad. Your expensive notepad has many pretty buttons and flashy lights. You can't touch them because the computer KNOWS what it wants you to do. How dare you think you know better than an Apple mac!!

Windows Computer: Has dumbed EVERYTHING down to SUCH and extent that it is now almost impossible for any windows user to learn anything about computers except how to click on the correct buttons.

The difference? Apple computers knows what its doing. It does not need you. In fact it resents you're very existence.
Windows, not so pretty, not so flash, but its fathers rich and powerful so just click on IE and everythings going to be alright.

Switch to Linux. Its the only O/S that i've ever used that lets me (the ACTUAL OWNER!!) of the computer to do what I want to do.

(Why are apple computers hated so much? Because they're s***)

Being "user friendly" is a selling point, though.

If i took away your glass of milk and replaced it with a sippy cup JUST IN CASE you can't figure out how to use it would you be impressed?

Thats exactly what Bill Gates wanted to do since day one, make everyone so reliant on Windows they will be to scared s***less to try anything else, some people out there don't even know there are alternatives to windows, but then it makes the computer work so they don't really care either.

As for Apple they don't make s*** computers they just make closed source computers and that stifles creativity

To be honest they're hardware is amazing, i'd love just once for my computer not to crash because of hardware incompatiblities or something just doesn't want to work.
Can you honestly tell me though why i should fork out thousands of pounds for an apple? give me a reason

About ?800 > ?1000 ish i think and no i wouldn't pay that either, and the price would come down if they weren't so proprietary, but Steve Jobs just wanted to rule the world, shame Bill got there first

Bill did steal off Steve.
The whole idea of a desktop was an Apple creation and Bill knicked it.
I'd die without my mac. I'm just so used to them. People are afraid of what they
don't understand, even with things as trivial as computers

Owning the map is the equivalant of owning a big fast sports car even though you can't drive.
