THE DEVIL & COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUSNESS
THE DEVIL? WHAT IS IT, REALLY?
Does human negativity originate as thoughts to eventually become thinking patterns that are unwittingly enlivened into an opposing entity? Can human-created darkness become a false self and be what the ancients termed 'the Devil'? - by Louis Charles
With so much misinformation about demons being promoted in various media, we feel it important to demystify the demonic.
Long before Christianity became an organized religion, what our ancestors defined as 'the devil' or 'demons' were definitely not what most consider them to be, today. This change occurred over many, many centuries and happened because of persuasive religious beliefs that impart fear to followers.
Allow us to assert that there is, however, a demonic unconsciousness that is pervasive throughout much of mankind, it would seem. And, what that means we'll attempt to explain.
Getting to Know the Devil
Throw away the idea of a red-faced fiend with horns. We're going to take his mask off and explain who the devil is.
The devil is a created identity, a false self, that a person strongly believes to be their real self. We often identify with it as being 'me' and carry its life story within our memories, living through everthing that has ever happened in the past to me. And because the false self lives in either the past or future, it can make us do the things we do not want to do.
The ancients labeled this part of us that did things contrary to what we want or who we are as "the devil" or "Satan," meaning "an adversary." This devil remains hidden to most of us because it is created by the mind and, so, we think it IS us. But do not despair; the devil is not something you should fear or fight. You only need to become aware of what it is and how it gains its power in order to lessen its grasp. And that requires you to first know who you are so you can perceive the difference between the true you and the imposter-deceiver.
Where Does the Devil Originate?
The devil within mankind is formed, individually and collectively, through human thinking that is left unchecked, the mind turning negative when thinking is not grounded in true awareness.
The false identity can be considered, even collectively, as a devil, a strong deluding energy, a blinding darkness within a person or people that can spread through shared thought - much like a virus. It is thinking that causes a person to live in the past or future and never in the present moment. That is how you can easily identify it.
Are you thinking of something that was hurtful in your past? Are you worried about how the future might turn out?
If so, in either case, you are living somewhere else other than the present moment - and it is all happening in your mind. (Dwelling on the past is the source of depression. Dwelling on the future is the source of anxiety.)
Thoughts Are Alive
We shouldn't underestimate the power of thought. Look around you. It is likely that you are surrounded, right now, by things that were created with thinking. Thoughts are powerful and they are living.
In Tibetan culture, 'tulpas' are purposely-created ghosts made out of 'thought forms' that are said to do the sorceror's bidding. It is a negative energy manifested purposely through the power of intention. One might say this creation is "a devil" of sorts. If true, such an idea points to an important truth: our thoughts are alive.
The Demons in Our Head: Another Entity?
Demons are negative thoughts and thinking patterns that we unknowningly create and empower. They cause most all of the suffering in the world. These destructive thoughts are alive and trigger emotional and bodily suffering. Demonic thought patterns and beliefs can appear to us as a separate entity if it grows in strength to the point of becoming uncontrollable to become a possessing creature, a destructive force weunwittingly create and empower. 'The Destroyer,' as it's been called, can take complete control over the real person.
I once saw a woman at a gas pump become agitated. She was dressed smartly and likely making her way to work when she became very angry. I could hear her hitting the pump and cursing. The gas station attendant, attempting to help, told her through the nearby speaker that the pump was pre-pay to which the angry woman responded "I do not have time for this." She slammed the pump nozzle down, one more time for good measure, jumped in her car and sped off through the lot nearly hitting other travelers in her way. I watched as she turned onto the street, zipped around the corner and flipped off the gas station with her middle finger as she disappeared down the road. I was aware that who I saw that morning was not the real person. It was somebody else, and it was violently angry.
There is no doubt that when we witness someone who is behaving abominably, even one who is downright evil, it is shocking. It is as if they are possessed by an other-worldly entity. And, in a sense, they are possessed. The real person is buried, not present at that time, hidden from observers. We might say that the possessed person is unconscious.
The false self, labeled many different things in the Bible such as false prophet, antichrist, strongman, etc., is in control and manifested fully. Something unreal is alive while the real person is far away, meaning he or she is not aware of what is happening. The person is possessed and bound by something he or she cannot fully perceive as not their true self.
False teachings and misunderstandings about the devil and demons often cause people to believe that the demonic is something horrific, powerful and should thus be feared. If we cast our fears upon the outer world of form, then we create monsters in our head, beliefs that seem real and impossible to destroy. And if we run from things we do not understand because of learned beliefs, we can never be free from that which we perceive to be a threat.
The unknown must be faced; otherwise, we strengthen fear in our lives. By exploring our darkness, meaning the unknown, humanity can face it and find freedom from suffering. So, do not fear. Be encouraged. You are about to learn a secret.
Demonic Unconsciousness: 3 Potential Possessors
While considering the idea of being possessed by thoughts, we have come up with three possible scenarios of how a person might be possessed by a demonic unconsciousness. (We must admit that the 3 scenarios are only theory at this point. Therefore, this section could be edited in the future as we gain more understanding of possessing entities.)
A person may be possessed by their own false self and its thinking patterns. A person may be possessed by their own false self and the unconscious thoughts (false beliefs) of others. A person may be possessed by their own false self and another person's false self (All souls are connected and one energy, let's call this force 'spirit,' so why couldn't similar unconscious minds also share space in some cases?). This would be what is known as 'demonic possession,' 'ghost possession' or 'spirit possession.'
In all three scenarios, the possessing false self and its thoughts are created by people who are unconscious.
How to Overcome the Demonic
If humans create negativity, then demonic thinking can be dethroned and done away with through awareness: when we become conscious of who we are and, especially, who we are not.
Ultimately, the things that are not true or real are powerless as they only masquerade as real or true to the person who doesn't understand. Some may even detect that something is not quite right and choose to war against the devil because the religious idea was put in their mind. But fighting the demonic will not work. When we give power through resistance, we strengthen the false (demonic thinking). We must learn to 'accept what is' whenever we desire to resist. This is the place of power.
When we understand our own darkness, we become aware of the devil and demons that create our own personal torments - 'hell.' If we become free from suffering, then we can help others end their darkness and the spirits (negative thoughts) that bind them into conceptual living.
We read in the Bible that Jesus reportedly spoke to demons or devils, that they were in people. People were possessed by this negativity.
You might wonder how such influences, whether self-created or group-created, could enter and remain within a person. We only need to recall the groups of people throughout human history, even entire countries, who made destructive choices as one accord because of misguided thoughts and beliefs (e.g. wars, cults, etc.). This type of mass-mindedness is known as 'tribal thinking.'
People tend to strongly identify with thinking and form beliefs. This creates mental constructs and the person lives within concepts, repeating behavior and reacting to the world around them. But most of us are unable to recognize this because we place so much value on our thoughts and what we learn: we only see ourselves as the mind. And by doing so, we are effectively blocking out the bigger part, the true essence, of who we are.
Our ability to think is not bad but, if left unchecked, the mind will keep us on a continual mind stream of thoughts. It never shuts down and may keep our focus on the past, the future - anywhere except the present. When you think, you are often not aware of the present moment.
Have you noticed your mind jumping from one thought to another? Have you ever been awakened at night, worrying over something you need to do or fretting over something you have already done? Have you ever observed people talking to themselves - do you talk to yourself?Have you ever attempted to stop thinking but couldn't?
All of this is mind stream, a seemingly endless flow of uncontrolled chatter in our heads. It can put us in a state of torment. It can keep us from knowing the deeper part of our being.
Getting Free of the Devil and Its Demons
Deep within a person is a core of peace, the soul, that may be hidden due to the blackness of mental confusion or misunderstanding (e.g. fear). It is this core that is the real you, an awareness of something greater than the thoughts in your mind. How do you find this core of awareness? How do you get free from the suffering to find it?
STEPS TO BEGIN TO GET FREE
You must be at a place where you no longer wish to suffer and are ready for a change. You must recognize that you are more than your mind - you are the awareness behind the thinking.Work at stopping your mind from thinking by stepping back from it and focusing on being aware of the present moment. (Try doing this in short intervals until you can do it longer and more consistently.)After you have stopped thinking, seek to be in tune with your inner core, the awareness. You can grow the time you spend here and away from thinking.Apply thinking after stepping back. Then, step back again. Apply thinking. Repeat.
If you can do these steps and practice them frequently, you will find peace in the present and begin the steps toward not giving the devil power any longer. Past pains can then be worked through along with repetitive behaviors and reactionary thinking.
You had good intentions when you took it upon yourself to "CLEAN" the negativity from the White House, but the negative still remains. In FACT, has increased TREMENDOUSLY. Therefore, there is a cleansing more powerful than any other coming. We are sure this is felt before being seen. Change is necessary & the time has come. The world can wait no longer. SUPERMOON AND TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE ‘BLOOD MOON’ TO COINCIDE IN RARE CELESTIAL EVENT
By Hannah Osborne On Saturday, December 1, 2018 - 05:00
A supermoon is set to coincide with a total lunar eclipse in January—and the rare event will be visible across the U.S.
This is the only total lunar eclipse—also known as a blood moon—of 2019. The last one was on July 27 of this year, and there won’t be another until 2021.
Total lunar eclipses are when the Earth is directly between the Sun and the Moon. This means the Moon is lying in the shadow of Earth. “During a total lunar eclipse, the Moon usually turns a deep, dark red because it is illuminated by light that has passed through the Earth's atmosphere and has been bent back towards the Moon by refraction,” the U.K.’s Royal Museums Greenwich explains. “Dust in the atmosphere blocks out the higher frequency blue light waves, but the longer wavelength of red light comes through.”
January’s total lunar eclipse is special as it will also be a “supermoon”—a phenomenon where a full moon coincides with its closest approach to Earth, known as the perigee. This makes the Moon appear bigger than normal.
These two events mean stargazers in January will see a “super blood moon.” There was another super blood moon in January 2018. In an interview with Time in July, NASA planetary scientist Rick Elphic said it was unusual to have a total solar eclipse and supermoon fall so closely together: “It’s usually years between lunar eclipses that have supermoons in them,” he told the magazine. “We just happen to be in a seasonal cycle where last year there was one and then this year, there is one and I don’t think there will be another supermoon eclipse for a while.”
According to timeanddate.com, the total lunar eclipse will be visible from North and South America and western parts of Europe and Africa.
Elphic said the best way to see the eclipse is through binoculars: “Telescopes can be useful but overpowering; if you’re using a telescope, you get a close-up view of the moon, but it’s really a much more dramatic thing to see against the night sky with binoculars. That’s your best bet.”
January’s full moon is also known as the Full Wolf Moon, according to The Old Farmer’s Alama. This name as given by Native American and early Colonials as wolves would howl outside villages at night from hunger.
January will be the first of three supermoons. The next two will take place on February 19 and March 21, with February’s being the largest and closest of the trio.

St. Francis' vision of a seraph (fresco attributed to Giotto)
A seraph (/ˈsɛrəf/, "the burning one"; pl.seraphs or seraphim /ˈsɛrəfɪm/, in theKing James Version also seraphims(plural); Hebrew: שָׂרָף śārāf, plural שְׂרָפִיםśərāfîm; Latin: seraphim and seraphin(plural), also seraphus (-i, m.); Greek:σεραφείμ serapheím Arabic: مشرفينMusharifin) is a type of celestial orheavenly being originating in Ancient Judaism. It plays a role in Christianity,Judaism and Islam. The singular "seraph" is a back-formation from the plural "seraphim", whereas in Hebrew the singular is "saraph".
Tradition places seraphim in the highest rank in Christian angelology and in the fifth rank of ten in the Jewish angelic hierarchy. A seminal passage in theBook of Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-8) used the term to describe six-winged beings that fly around the Throne of God crying "holy, holy, holy". This throne scene, with its triple invocation of holiness (a formula that came to be known as theTrisagion), profoundly influenced subsequent theology, literature and art. Its influence is frequently seen in works depicting angels, heaven and apotheosis.
APOTHEOSIS (of George Washington)
President George Washington, founding father of America and member of freemasonry secret society, attended Saint (Archangel) Michael's church in Charleston South Carolina during his lifetime. It's also important to note that this is the only town in the USA famous for being the home of the most ancient Mother lodge to the Freemasons as well.
Charleston South Carolina is also known as "The Battery." Would you like to know why? Think MATRIX!
Charleston SC was the main port for ships carrying slaves from Africa to be sold in auctions in the historical marketplace. It makes you wonder if George Washington found Charleston a sacred heavenly destination for his travels. He attended secret meetings in the freemason circles, went to God's highest ranking, warrior angel's Holy place on Sunday then popped over to the market after church to pick a few slaves to take back home to ___? Washington DC or Pennsylvania?
Did you know he is honored in a painting, sitting on a RAINBOW THRONE, surrounded by angels & saints, sitting beneath a golden dome of the WHITEhouse? The Bible describes the most Holy RAINBOW THRONE is where the Lord is seated at the RIGHT HAND of God in the final book of Revelations. Is this blasphemy of a founding father who supposedly founded America under God? Or is it symbol language of the ancient secret keeping freemasons?
A hint: The painting is literally called "The Apotheosis of George Washington" (INVESTIGATE IT FOR YOURSELF! YOUR SOUL & THE BELIEFS OF YOUR OWN CHILDREN & LOVED ONES ARE WORTH A LITTLE DIGGING, FOCUS & TIME)
Seraphim are mentioned as celestial beings in an influentialHellenistic work, the Book of Enoch, and the Book of Revelation.
Origins and developmentEdit
The word saraph/seraphim appears three times in the Torah (Numbers 21:6–8, Deuteronomy 8:15) and four times in the Book of Isaiah (6:2–6, 14:29, 30:6). In Isaiah 6:2-6 the term is used to describe a type of celestial being or angel. The other five uses of the word refer to serpents.
The vision in Isaiah Chapter 6 of seraphim in an idealized version ofSolomon's Temple represents the sole instance in the Hebrew Bible of this word being used to describe celestial beings. "... I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly." (Isaiah 6:1–3) And one cried to another, "Holy, holy, holy, is YHWH the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory." (verses 2–3) One seraph carries out an act of ritual purificationfor the prophet by touching his lips with a live coal from the altar (verses 6–7).
The text describes the "seraphim" as winged celestial beings with a fiery passion for doing God's good work.Notwithstanding the wording of the text itself, at least one Hebrew scholar claims that in the Hebrew Bible the seraphim do not have the status ofangels, and that it is only in later sources (like De Coelesti Hierarchia orSumma Theologiae) that they are considered to be a division of the divine messengers.
Seraphim appear in the 2nd-century BCBook of Enoch, where they are mentioned, in conjunction withcherubim, as the heavenly creatures standing nearest to the throne of God. They are also called the Akyəst (Ge'ez:አክይስት "serpents", "dragons"; an alternate term for Hell) which, along with the cherubim and Paradise, are under the rule of the archangelGabriel.
In the Second Book of Enoch, two classes of celestial beings are equated with the seraphim and cherubim, known as the phoenixes and the chalkydri(Ancient Greek: χαλκύδραι khalkýdrai, compd. of χαλκός khalkós "brass, copper" + ὕδρα hýdra "hydra", "water-serpent" — lit. "brazen hydras", "copper serpents" ). Both are described as "flying elements of the sun" that reside in either the 4th or 6th heaven, who have twelve wings and burst into song at sunrise.
In the Book of Revelation (4:4–8), the beasts are described as being forever in God's presence and praising him: "[A]nd they rest not day and night, saying, 'Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come." This account differs slightly from the account of Isaiah, stating in the eighth verse, "And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within". They appear also in theGnostic text, On the Origin of the World.

The 12th-century scholar Maimonidesplaced the seraphim in the fifth of ten ranks of angels in his exposition of theJewish angelic hierarchy. In Kabbalah, the seraphim are the higher angels of the World of Beriah ("Creation", first created realm, divine understanding),whose understanding of their distance from the absolute divinity of Atziluthcauses their continual "burning up" inself-nullification. Through this they ascend to God, and return to their place. Below them in the World of Yetzirah("Formation", archetypal creation, divine emotions) are the Hayot angels ofEzekiel's vision, who serve God with self-aware instinctive emotions ("face of a lion, ox, eagle" ). Seraphim are part of the angelarchy of modern Orthodox Judaism. Isaiah's vision is repeated several times in daily Jewish services, including at Kedushah prayer as part of the repetition of the Amidah, and in several other prayers as well.Conservative Judaism retains the traditional doctrines regarding angels and includes references to them in the liturgy, although a literal belief in angels is by no means universal among adherents. Adherents of Reform Judaism and Reconstructionist Judaismgenerally take images of angels as symbolic.
An ancient Judean seal from the 8th century BC depicts them as flying asps, yet having human characteristics, as encountered by Isaiah in his commissioning as a prophet.
Seraphim surround the divine throne in this illustration from the Petites Heures de Jean de Berry, a 14th-century illuminated manuscript, commissioned by John, Duke of Berry.
Medieval Christian theology places seraphim in the highest choir of the angelic hierarchy. They are the caretakers of God's throne, continuously singing "holy, holy, holy". Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite in his Celestial Hierarchy (vii), drew upon the Book of Isaiah in fixing the fiery nature of seraphim in the medieval imagination. Seraphim in his view helped the Deity maintain perfect order and are not limited to chanting the trisagion. Taking his cue as well from writings in the Rabbinic tradition, the author gave an etymology for the Seraphim as "those who kindle or make hot"
The name seraphim clearly indicates their ceaseless and eternal revolution about Divine Principles, their heat and keenness, the exuberance of their intense, perpetual, tireless activity, and their elevative and energetic assimilation of those below, kindling them and firing them to their own heat, and wholly purifying them by a burning and all-consuming flame; and by the unhidden, unquenchable, changeless, radiant and enlightening power, dispelling and destroying the shadows of darkness
Origen wrote in On First Principles that the Seraphim, in the Book of Isaiah, are the physical representation of the Christand the Holy Spirit. His rationale comes from the idea that nothing "can wholly know the beginnings of all things and the ends of the universe" aside fromGod. Origen concludes this section in writing about the Seraphim as beings that have the knowledge of God revealed to them which elevates the role of the Seraphim to divine levels:
Nevertheless whatever it is that these powers may have learned through the revelation of the Son of God and of the Holy Spirit-and they will certainly be able to acquire a great deal of knowledge, and the higher ones much more than the lower-still it is impossible for them to comprehend everything; for it is written, 'The more part of God's works are secret.
This quote suggest that Origen believed the Seraphim are revealed this knowledge because of their anointed status as Son of God and the Holy Spirit. He was later criticized for making such claims and labeled a heretic by the Christian church. However, his theory about the Seraphim, as referred to inIsaiah, would be reflected in other early Christian literature, as well as early Christian belief through the second century.
Thomas Aquinas in his Summa Theologiae offers a description of the nature of seraphim:
The name "Seraphim" does not come from charity only, but from the excess of charity, expressed by the wordardor or fire. Hence Dionysius (Coel. Hier. vii) expounds the name "Seraphim" according to the properties of fire, containing an excess of heat. Now in fire we may consider three things.
First, the movement which is upwards and continuous. This signifies that they are borne inflexibly towards God.
Secondly, the active force which is "heat," which is not found in fire simply, but exists with a certain sharpness, as being of most penetrating action, and reaching even to the smallest things, and as it were, with superabundant fervor; whereby is signified the action of these angels, exercised powerfully upon those who are subject to them, rousing them to a like fervor, and cleansing them wholly by their heat.
Thirdly we consider in fire the quality of clarity, or brightness; which signifies that these angels have in themselves an inextinguishable light, and that they also perfectly enlighten others.
The seraphim took on a mystic role inGiovanni Pico della Mirandola's Oration on the Dignity of Man (1487), the epitome of Renaissance humanism. Pico took the fiery Seraphim—"they burn with the fire of charity"—as the highest models of human aspiration: "impatient of any second place, let us emulate dignity and glory. And, if we will it, we shall be inferior to them in nothing", the young Pico announced, in the first flush of optimistic confidence in the human capacity that is the coinage of the Renaissance. "In the light of intelligence, meditating upon the Creator in His work, and the work in its Creator, we shall be resplendent with the light of the Cherubim. If we burn with love for the Creator only, his consuming fire will quickly transform us into the flaming likeness of the Seraphim."
Bonaventure, a Franciscan theologian who was a contemporary of Aquinas, uses the six wings of the seraph as an important analogical construct in his mystical work The Journey of the Mind to God.
Christian theology developed an idea of seraphim as beings of pure light who enjoy direct communication with God.
Seraphim (Sarufiyyun or Musharifin)rarely appear in Islam. They are mentioned in a hadith from Al-Tirmidhiin a conversation between Muhammadand God during the Night Journeyconcerning what is between the Heavens and the earth, which is often interpreted as a reference to the "Exalted assembly" disputing the creation ofAdam in Surah 38:69. Sometimes the Archangels Jibrāʾīl and Israfil are identified as Seraphim. Robert Southey noted an Islamic narration about Angels commanded to prostrate before Adam, whereupon Iblis refused as he boasted about himself being a Seraph created from celestial fire, more excellent than Adam.
As mascots and symbolsEdit
Several Catholic schools use a Seraph or a seraph-related symbol as their mascot:

In addition, Kingswood College in Randles Hill, Kandy, Sri Lanka, a public school, claims the seraph as its mascot.
Several Rolls-Royce models use a "Flying Lady" symbol or moniker, which some equate to a seraph.

ABRAHAM STONE SHINES & RISES
JEDDAH: Maqam-e-Ibrahim, also knows as the Station of Ibrahim, the rock on which Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood while building the upper walls of the Holy Kaaba, receives special attention by the authorities concerned — for cleanliness and as a sign of veneration for the place.
As Prophet Ibrahim, continued laying stones in place, the Maqam-e-Ibrahim miraculously rose as the walls rose.
Maqam-e-Ibrahim is cleaned and its brass fixtures are polished thrice a day, its surroundings are refreshed with oud and perfumed with amber, just like the Black Stone and the doorstep of the Kaaba.
The marble surrounding the structure is also polished once a year, according to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
The old Maqam-e-Ibrahim structure, which was replaced during King Fahd’s reign, is currently on display at the Two Holy Mosques Museum in Makkah.
King Fahd ordered the replacement of the old metal structure with a brass structure, said the museum director Ahmed Al-Dakhil.
The old structure receives a lot of interest from museum visitors, with museum experts providing information to them.
The symbolic impression of Prophet Ibrahim’s feet on the brass case at Maqam-e-Ibrahim evokes keen interest of pilgrims and visitors.
The Maqām Ibrāhīm (Arabic: مَـقَـام إِبْـرَاهِـيْـم, lit. 'Station of Abraham' is a stone associated with Abraham,Ishmael and their rebuilding of theKa‘bah in what is now the Great Mosque of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. According to Islamic tradition, the imprint on the stone came from Abraham's feet.According to one tradition it appeared when Abraham stood on the stone while building the Kaaba; when the walls became too high, Abraham stood on themaqām, which miraculously rose up to let him continue building and also miraculously went down in order to allow Ishmael to hand him stones. Other traditions held that the footprint appeared when the wife of Ishmael washed Abraham's head, or alternatively when Abraham stood atop it in order to summon the people to perform the pilgrimage to Mecca.
