| The poverty line is making below $24000 a year.
Our government single income assistance and unemployment is much below 2000 a month.
When we make over 200 of the monthly amount of the monthly subsidy,
they want dollar to dollar deduction.
That means we are not encouraging people to work.
That means we are keeping people below poverty line.
The limit should be if we are making over 2000 that month the amount on top of the 2000 should be dollar to dollar deduction. Not over $935.
And the month when we collect our GST credit, the allowance should not be issued a week late. That is last montly check need to endure 5 weeks.
In other words, we are coming up 7 days grocery with our own savings and receive a tax credit of around 6 days grocery subsidy amount while others can enjoy the full amount of the tax credit.
When people use our ID card number to work we are out of a job. The CPP UI deduction should be the real ID holders instead of the government's.
So many use my ID to work and my CPP has not changed for so many years.
