20149 points | "Turandot" is the most well-known of ten fairy tales for the theatre, writtenby Gozzi. Directed by Andrei Andrejev the fantastic fairy tale of Gozzi has turned to almost antique tragedy in bloodish-golden tones (artist Dmitry Orlov), which is going under the Tibetian music and under accompaniment of light effects. The director has heeded also to F.Shiller's voice who, altering "Turandot", has written, that characters of Gozzi are similar to puppets, and the pedantic immovability is felt in all product: : almost all the actors, who are playing the performance, are no more, than dolls, whose bodies the director moves, as chessman, on a tablet of the stage. Oksana Terskih and Elli Njarja play Turandot (Elli Njarja on picture). The role of prince Kalaf play Evgeni Terskih.
