Ok some of you know my brother has a new girlfriend that i thought I liked a lot. Well now I just dont know what to think and its hard to deal with some of the things I am hearing from my brother. Well today I am going to have to deal with her and her puppy. First I have been guilted into watching the puppy over Thanksgiving for 2 days while they travel to Texas together. There is just no one else to watch the puppy. As most of you know I have 4 cats and 2 dogs. One of my dogs is very aggressive and not dog friendly at all. She tried to attack a small dog at my Moms several months back. I have told them this and they said ok no problem we will find some one else. A few weeks later no one else to watch the dog and no money to board the dog. Can you take the puppy? So the dog is coming today to see if my dog eats it 
Also long story short I have come to realize she is probably after my brothers non existent money as he is paying all her bills and they dont even live together.

2012 points | bloody familys,unfair about the puppy but you could keep it  awwwww your brother probably would,nt thank you for saying anything about his girlfriend though,if he,s loved up,  but you,ll be there if all goes wrong wont you teddy have some chocolate |

23384 points | The thing is I will love the freaking puppy for sure. I just hate being guilted into it. Plus its a puppy and we have just finished remodeling our house new furniture finally and all. What if it chews  I am so worried about all this and I am sure I just need to stop. |

I can see why you are so pissed off! she should have considered the puppy before arranging the trip! over the past several weeks, surely she could have sorted the kennel out! surely it cant cost that much for a weekend, especially as she not paying her own bills! teach the puppy to some bad habbits to piss her off |

Why don't they realize that your dog is just not the "other doggie"type?
Everyone seems to think that because you have pets,you are an open target for anyone with pet issues.
That has happened to me-Oh,pardon me while I notice you have 5 or 6 cats-Here why don't you take these 5 more?!
And then make you feel like crap when you say maybe not!
I can't stand that!

As for your brother's "girlfriend"I know the type,maybe he will realize what she is and dump her.(Hopefully!) |

28080 points | About the girlfriend, the brother here had a girlfriend like that. She would not pay for one thing. He paid for it all and this lasted a long time. They broke up last night and I am happy. It sounds like this girl is selfish to expect you to take care of her puppy.
Not to be rude but if one can't afford to board a pet for a couple nights, they have no right to a pet. Pets cost money. What if the dog had to go to the vet?
It is nice of you to do this. I hope they pick you up a little gift in Texas.
I have a dog and the brother watches it while I travel but I give him money. |
