very, very tired!!!

Up at 5.30 am yesterday morning to take one of my twin daughters to Homerton College Cambridge for an interview that started with a thinking skills assessment test at 9.00 am. After the test she had two hours before her first interview that lasted three quarters of an hour and reduced her to tears. There were however several hours for her to stew before her next subject based test and second interview at 4.00 pm.
The subject test was really difficult but luckily her second interview went really well.
by the time we got home it was 9.00 pm due to a crash holding traffic up on the M11.
A very very tiring and emotionally draining day. And all this after taking her twin sister to a similar cambridge interview on tuesday, and two interviews at london universities last week.
Anyone who says that young people have it easy today needs shooting!!!
What brave young people i saw at these interviews, all eager to jump through ever higher hoops to make something of themselves!!
I know for one that I couldn't do it.
