Public entry Bridezilla
August 21, 2008 @ 02:12:34 am

I am doing a wedding for Bridezilla . OMG she is driving me crazy , she has changed stuff so many times and now we are within 48 hours of the wedding and she wants me to host the rehearsal dinner which is less than 24 hours away. I have kind of over extended myself for the weekend anyway and I really don't want to do this one but I guess I'll try to pull some tricks out of the hat to get it done.

I give advice on certain things but never in a way in which it would cause the bride to feel like I was trying to tell her what to do. Your wedding day is just that YOUR wedding day so I try to keep it that way. Her colors just don't jive it's going to be hard to pull this one together to make it a kodack moment but I sopose that if this is in her taste it must reflect her personality and the guest will appreciate that but who ever heard of a bright orange and green wedding ???? The brides maids are going to look like pumpkins with legs and OMG it's just a disaster.

At any rate what bridezilla wants bridezilla gets but I draw the line at serving witches brew instead of punch.

I enjoy my job most of the time but that's because most of the time the brides are really sweet and they are easy to please. This girl however is from an upscale family and Daddy dearest is paying for everything and OMG she is just full of herself. The poor old groom is in for a life of "do this do that " I'm afraid.

Just grin and bare it is all I can say. In 2 days, you won't have to deal with her ever again... hopefully. I say that every time I get a difficult bride/groom.

Bright orange and green? Ewww. And I thought the bride who picked teal and turquiose was bad.

Is it an Irish/catholic, Irish/protestant wedding.

But, Tuna Melts would be a perfect blend with the overall color-scheme, as long as you put the tuna on green lettuce, and used velveta cheese.....

Tuna melts? Seriously? That's sick.

Wait. Let me get this straight. She has a daddy that will buy her whatever she wants... and she wants to go out with tuna melts? I know for damn sure my parents won't give me a windfall if/when I get married, and I would never pick tuna melts as my first meal as a married woman.

I'm sorry but that's a little trashy to me.

Why not pick a menu that is a little more summery since the wedding date is being held the weekend before what will be the last weekend of summer.

*sigh* I don't get it. Some women talk all the time about what they want to do when they get married but all it seems like they want to do is drive everyone around them crazy which I guess is what they believe is the perk of being the bride to them.
