| Ok one here my age is wrong but anyway I am old enough to drive and so my dad bought me a brand new 2007 Honda Civic Coupe Si, here is the bad parts one weekend when my cousins came over me, my cousins, and my friends all went to the movie and when we were in the movie another car backed into my Civic my dad wasnt mad when he saw but since I wasnt in the car when it happened insurance wouldnt cover it and my dad wont pay for it and I dont have the money to pay for a new bumper so what should I do go to the junk yard and get one or keep on asking my dad to help me pay for it??? | |

Yeah, they do. Even if you replace it yourself, if you're lucky enough to find a matching bumper at a junkyard, it's going to be several hundred dollars if in good condition. And there might be more besides the bumper that needs replacing.
A new bumper from an aftermarket source plus priming and painting can easily be $1000.
I suggest a few things:
1) Save money for a new bumper. Try to replace it yourself if you feel up to it.
2) Don't pester your dad about it. This is your fault. Take some responsibility.
3) No one is going to believe your "someone backed into me" story  |

Well, if you saw it happen, you have the license plate number of the vehicle that did it. Report the hit and run to the police, and that person's insurance will cover the cost of a body shop replacing the bumper to factory specs. |
