MY BEAUTIFUL STORY OF WOLVES AND LOVE! ENJOY:
The wolf's nose was wrinkled with interest. the moon was rising above the hills, the sun setting just past the oceans end. the yellow-brown gra** of her territory flowed in the breeze. her pure white coat moved with it. to her right was the darkness, a light, agile wolf. to her, he was everything. he glanced her way, giving her a reassuring look. it was OK.
to him, this was a regular event. he was used to the night air and the stars, howling to the moon.
to her, it was something she would have to get used to.
they watched the sunset with eagerness.
the sun was more than halfway gone...
3 quarters...
with a bright flash of rainbow light, the sun disappeared. in it's place hovered a dark wolf, wings spread. the white she-wolf jumped up, flapped, and fell.
the black wolf glanced at her, turned towards the ending sunset, then back to her, urging her to come. he moved towards the ocean a few feet.
she tried a running start, and fell over herself in a heap of dust and wild-grass.
the dark wolf lowered his head.
she-wolf knew that she had to learn to fly now, or she would surely die... the great storm was coming...
flying overhead were thousands upon thousands of others, getting off the island.
the dark wolf turned...
he was leaving her...
she howled so loud, that everything seemed to stop. she wouldn't let this happen. she got to her feet, one scraped by the fall, and spread her wings. with all her strength, she ran towards the cliff, jumped, and fell...
the dark wolf had tears. he wanted to go back and carry she-wolf but he knew the weight of two would only make him slow, or not be able to fly at all. he let a tear roll down his fur and fall away in the spring air.
a small tug on his tail forced him to spin around with lightning speed.
she-wolf was flapping so hard, you could hear her muscles strain, but she was there, and thats all that mattered...
=^.^=
hope you liked.
