Met friends out at the beach last night. We sat under a Tiki hut, cold beers in hand and the beach literally at our feet. You could not ask for nor could you get a better view. Cold beers, cool breeze, the sound of waves and the smell of the ocean in the air. NIghts like that make it nearly impossible to imagine living anywhere but here.

Actually, we drove through a pretty intense thunder storm on the way to the beach. It's Summer time, the storms are unavoidable, but usually temporary. The beach was dry and rain free. 10 minutes west of there, a downpour. Now, when the first hurricane of the season makes landfall, I may change my mind about Florida being the perfect place weather-wise.

	My car broke this weekend, so I dind't get my night out. But I did however sit in the sun today with a few cold ones. Which was awesome. Sounds like you hand an amazing time.

	Aw man, I'm sorry about your car and your missed night out! At least you got a little sunshine time in. If you're like me, the sun aids in keeping a good mood going or getting one started. What's up with the car?

	My starter and battery went. Cost a bit to get it fixed. But the sun did help. I am going for a bit more tomorrow as well. As much as I bitch about the heat, I love the sun.

I know, the heat can drain you, but when water is nearby, it's all good. That's what was so great last night...the breeze coming in off the ocean was actually a tad chilly. Ok, chilly for a Floridian.

If you haven't got a pool to lay by, get a kiddie pool, fill 'er up and splash your toes!

	Yea, I have the pool at my place.. which needs cleaning. But I was out with my sister and we were out on her farm laying out. It was great. And I know what you mean about the ocean getting chilly. It feels great though doesn't it!

	It is. One of the guys we were with last night left work a little early because he was having a bad day. He left work and drove out to the beach...to relax, listen to the waves and feel normal again. That's what the ocean is about for me--- freeing me from the day to day BS and making me feel good again.
