i play in a group called minethirtyseven from portland, oregon. the name comes from the area where my grandfather grew up, the coal mines of pennsylvania. i was born in flint, michigan and moved to oregon at the age of twelve when my father was transfered from general motors flint to general motors beaverton. other than playing music i record sound and i am studying sound engineering and audio production at portland state university. i listen to the kinks, joe jackson, bowie, the faces, grahm parker, the jam, gang of four, ect. ect... when i read it's mostly franz kafka. that's about all.
