We took third in the state today. One of the toughest divisions for sure and we came out with a perfect routine. Nothing could have been better, no regrets.

Im up a lot sooner than I thought I would be since Ive been sick this week and fighting a cold but Im too pumped about state today to sleep so its up up and away!!

I think Im going to start making some cards for the coaches and go over the list of things I need to take with me so I dont feel rushed when it comes time to leave.

Im so nervous, excited, proud.........I just dont know what to do with myself. I keep trying to go back to sleep but every time I end up hearing my pep talk and seeing us on the floor!

I know some of you know how much I freak out about this but state is already here!!! Its another year and a new team and we are so close to the top I can taste it!!

We have to be perfect, everyone send out their prayers for us please?? I may go crazy before we even take the floor.

We have been busy at work all weekend!! I havent been feeling so hot which makes me nervous since state is in less than 6 days but I can make it!

The trip was rainy but the kids had fun and I think we are more ready than we will ever be.

We are taking the team and leaving as soon as school gets out tomorrow. Coming home just in time for the Super Bowl.

Im so excited to spend time with them and to have my first "seafood boil" Its going to be YUMMY!!!

The routine wasnt perfect by a long shot but the second place team was at least 5 points away!! The girls were really disappointed in themselves but glad that the rest of their skills made up for it. Talk about an off day for everyone......lots of teams were struggling. I think we all need the weekend before state off. We take our team to the beach. YAY

Love my students, love my job but I sure am glad its only a 4 day week!!! YIPEE!!!!

The team did great! Im so proud of them.......really it was like a complete turn around from last week. Now they just have to keep their heads in the game for a few more weeks. State, here we come!

This weekend should prove to be even better than last weekend! I'm really excited that we have worked some things out and the girls really should be more confident than ever. Their skills are improving I just wish they wouldn't get so nervous and blank out!!
