I just heard a terrible news. My friend's father died last Sunday. It was a heart-sickening news! I felt really sorry for her. I know how she adores her father so much...
Somehow, I know how it feels when your father left you for good. You know what? Every time I imagine my "soon to be" dad's death, I would simply cry. My heart would really start to tear apart. Whenever that time comes, (cause I know death is inevitable) deep in the depths of my heart, I simply couldn't accept it! I love my dad so much that it hurts for me to let him go. He is the most precious guy I ever knew! I wouldn't trade him for the most handsome guy in this world or even the most expensive thing in this world. He is really one of a kind.
Whenever I did something wrong, he never beat me but instead he corrected me with his godly words. You might think that I'm some kind of a spoiled brat cause I was never beaten by my dad but his words really did a great impact in my life. I wouldn't be where I am right now if it wasn't for his teachings and guidance.
Daddy, I know that we won't be together forever and somehow you will depart from this world but I just want to tell everyone that you are the most wonderful person I ever knew. You made me what I am and you molded me into a better person. You even helped me overcome my difficulties and you were always there for me. Remember that whatever happens, you will always have a special place in my heart and I will always be the daughter you once knew. I love you dad!

Don't know what you believe in but in a sense you and your father will always be together as well as your friend and her father. We are always with our loved ones, even if you can't see them for a long while. |
