Well let's see. The name's Mike, friends call me $tryker. I'm 18, in college. I'm studying to become a computer engineer. No, I'm not a nerd; I just know where the money's at and refuse to do the medical school or law school thing. I actually am more of the partier type. I love to go to concerts and play my guitar. I went to Bartending School, and got my license. I love to play football, and watch baseball. GO ASTROS! They came so close in 2005, jeez.
Let's see, I dislike cheats, liars, people with bad hygiene, and people that don't respect differences or opinions. IO love debates, but hate arguments. No trouble in the playground sessions for me.
Probably the most nerdish hobby I have is a pro-gaming clan I run. For those of you that don't know what that is, we're a team that competes all over the US for money (Prizes in that kind of competition can run from $15000- to $1 Million).
Our team site is www.teamexiled.com and is a closely knit bunch. So it's really fun, and you can actually make a lot of money.
I work as an IT/Network security professional for an insurance company, as per towards my degree. I love programming, and web design, and am becoming more and more fluent in a variety of languages as I progress throughout college.
Two of my flaws are that I am self conscious about my looks. I don't think I'm ugly, or anything, though nevertheless, sometimes I still get kind of jittery about it. Additionally, I get worried as many people judge me before getting to know me. By this alone, you'll realize I love gaming and computers, though I'm a very outgoing partier too. The nerdy part of my personality turns many people off at first glance, so they don't even try to get to know my wild side. It's a sad thing, but I deal with it. |

Currently, I'm enjoying the single college life. Relationships are not very high on my priority list. I just got out of one that was 1 and a half beautiful years, though it turned sour major fast near the end.
Additionally, I'm very focused on my studies and work, so that leaves little time for them right now.
Friends, however, are a huge plus. I love people, and learning everyone's story.
I would love to just meet some neat people, that I can become friends with, and possibly have some awesome talks. |
