Well, I don't think that I have ever been in one place that was that diversified. You'd be amazed by the variety in Rod Stewart fans! It was a bunch of fun. Bryan was just awesome, as usual. Not as great as the last time I saw him a year ago, but he looked so good 
Rod's getting up there now and you can tell. Someone there said that this was going to be his last tour, he might need it to be, it wasn't like I've heard his shows were, but it was great just the same. He saved "Maggie Mae" for the encore song of the night, which bugged me, cuz it was raining like mad, and that was the song I really wanted to hear, and with the rain, I wasn't so sure that I wanted to stay the whole show. I'm glad I did though.
It'll be good to see Bryan when he's headlining instead of opening. The longer performace will be better

... but I'm super excited about getting to see Bryan Adams again tonight. I love that man.... as you all know Plus, getting the chance to see Rod Stewart. How awesome!!! I can't wait. So yeah. I have a "friend" and her name is Sarah. She has one kid already and another on the way, but no place to live. I let her stay with me just so that she can have someplace warm to be until she gets herself situated. She's done almost nothing to get herself out of my place. I didn't care too much until Legend's dad was coming back. I WANT him to live with us, and we are going to try and start again on our family. He even agreed that, as long as she was working towards getting her own place, that she could stay when he gets back.
Anyway, I live in low income housing, we have to keep our apt clean to a certain standard. If we don't, we get evicted. She is not working, and I have my kids in daycare and school, so she wasn't having to take care of them. All I cared about is that she kept the place up to that standard. Well, we just had an inspection, and I'm getting evicted. Brock, the kids and I have no where to go, he is currently living in Washington St, so he doesn't have a job out here, and I only bring in about 150/wk. We have no money to get a place. I've been working very hard on lining up jobs for him, and finding other places to live that won't do credit checks bc now I can't get in anywhere due to this eviction notice. It's been stressful.
Last night, I just wanted to go out and see my friend's band play. I haven't gone out in months, and the last time I went out was certainly not to see them. I had a terrible day, and I was really looking forward to head banging and letting go some of my stress. She had told me several times that it was okay and she would watch Legend for me. I get home and she's not here. She told me she was at her ex's grandfather's house, but then when I check my myspace, she's all talking about how she's out with her boyfriend, another friend, and the girl's boyfriend, and how she's going bowling later on. So I bust her on it. I don't care if I get walked all over just don't lie to me. She tries to lay a guilt trip about how I'm finding HIM a job and not her, and how, I'm more worried about where my kids and him and I are gonna go, and what about her? Like WTF!?! I'm not her mama.... I don't have to make EVERYTHING right in her life, and how in the hell am I gonna risk ME being out on the street so that she aint? Not my problem. I kicked her out last night. I feel terrible, bc she really doesn't have much of anywhere to go, but I didn't do that. I dunno.... what was I supposed to do anyway? Gah.... right, thanks for letting me rant that out!!

| So for six years now, we had no contact with Legend's father Brock. Last Wed night, something told me to check for him on that other site that we know about, and there he was. Legend's daddy. So I contacted him. I wrote him a letter telling him how she was doing, and that she really wanted to have him in her life. Then I gave him my phone number. Well, after talking to each other every day, and some planning, and my opening up my home to him, he's going to be coming home to Ohio to be with Legend!!! I don't think that I could be more excited about this week, or I would explode :D Thanx all of you for reading!! | |

Did ya miss me.... did ya did ya? Well, I missed all of you! Just got back to the internet after my trip to Disney World with my daughter, and oh what fun we had.
