But I read that magnesium is supposed to help with twitches, so I've been taking that since last night and the twitch is almost gone now  I can actually speak now without driving myself insane, lol |

That is correct, Magnesium acts on muscle spindles and reduces any kind of involuntary spasms!!
I take Magnesuim daily to reduce my migraines cos it helps stop my brain cells spasming during the aura's too!!  |
