| im having a crisis of consience right now, i really like a girl from my old college cla** and she likes me but we both have partners. me and my gf have been going through a rough patch where i told her im bisexual and she kinnda freaked and told me she thought the idea was "disgusting". the other girl is completley understanding and has more of what i look for in a girl (adventurousness for one) than my gf. any ideas as to what to do? my head is fried from all this | |

Minister 10413 points | Some things that you should consider are: How long have you been with your girlfriend? Is your reltionship with her worth throwing away over a 'rough patch?' Do you care enough about her to try to work this out? With the other girl, you don't really know if you will have a good relationship, so you really need to think about what your current girlfriend means to you, and think about if you really want to leave the relationship.
I think that even considering leaving your girlfriend for someone else is a bad sign about the state of your current relationship, but I also think that it's bad to jump into a new relationship right after ending another. It's not really fair to anyone, because everyone's emotions would be involved, and you don't even know how it would turn out.
So I would advise trying to work things out with your girlfriend, and getting through this 'rough patch' together, but it's really your decision. You have to figure out what's right for yourself, but that means giving it some time before you make up your mind. |
