This is a soccer game involving no money, just a British syle soccer pundit for fun are you game.
How it works
Every week i will post the premiership fixtures in the premier pundit thread in the soccer forum and just respond with your predictions. It's that simple! Tell me what you want you team name to be or i'll keep up with points by using your screen name, please keep it clean. Then tell me which Premiership team you would like to choose as your bonus team, this team will double your points for thier respected game wether they win, lose or draw provided you have the correct result or win/tie.
How to get points
You will recive 1 point for predicting the correct winner or tie only.You will recive 3 points for the correct result and win/tie.
Your bonus team will double your points regardless if they win,lose or tie and will remain your bonus team through out the season. Eg If you pick wigan as your bonus team and you predict a score of Chelsea 1-0 Wigan and it happens you will recive 6 points as you predicted the correct result and win, with wigan as your bonus team so this way picking the best teams as a bonus team isn't always the best bet ( no pun intended). When predicting a tie you will get 1 point if the tie happens. 3 points for the correct result of the tie. Heres an example of a match card with chelsea as your bonus team.(only 4 games)
Predicted results Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal, Wigan 0-0 Portsmouth, Man utd 4-1 Liverpool, Derby County 0-3 Birmingham.
Correct results and your points Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal (6points),Wigan 1-1 Portsmouth (1 point) Man utd 0-1 Liverpool(0 points), derby 0-3 Birmingham(3 points) giving you a total of 10 out of 14 points. points will carry on till the end of the season if you miss a week you just miss the chance to gain points. The winner is the one with the most points at the end of the season.
Fixtures will be posted in advance and you must submitt me your pundit predictions one day before the scheduled games as our time zones are different.
Remember give me your team name and bonus team. I know it's early but the season will creep up fast and it helps me to see what interest there is in this and how many people are involved.
