Public entry Time for a change.

It is time for a slight change in my life. I am tired of looking out at the world and not seeing myself. I see myself outside of it. NO MORE!

I think that my blossoming relationship with treebee (Teresa) has made me look at the world in a whole new manner. Not only am I happy to wake up in the morning, but I actually take good long looks at those around me. I realize that most of these people are so burried into their own worlds, that they can no longer be classified as having any real connection to our world at all! thsi is my cue to shake them up a bit. I will do so by talking to everyone that I will pa** by. This is not unusual, but I will start saying some of the strangest stuff that comes to mind. I have startewd to do this, and the results so far are a little baffling. It is the ones that look the most into themselves and gloomy that respond the quickest and with the best attitudes. I have had a few people just ignore me, and one that tried to understand what I was doing.

What do you think? Am I doing a service, being an annoyance, or nothing significant at all!

Maybe it's time for all of us to change a bit. Do me a favor, look outside of yourself today, and try to get a reaction out of someone that looks like they are not in touch! You might be surprised at the reaction you get!

Hey, slider, glad to see the post. It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness!

This is true. Of course, it's easy to light the candle if your roommate hasn't eaten it!

I love the idea and even more the reason behind it. Its so nice to hear that someone has been stirred by love to move in the world with meaning.

Anything that is not negative. The last thing they need is a negative influence in their lives at this moment. I'll say things like, "Smile, it could be worse. it could be Monday!" When it is Monday, I say, "Remember, there are worse places!" Anything that they are not expecting. I'll even pop off with the occasional, "Watch for low-flying squirrels!" That one has got smiles so far!
