I got my GCSE results today, and about time too! It seems like ages ago I even did the exams, so it was great to finally stop worrying about them. As it turns out, I did a bit better than I had expected..
4 A*
History, Religious Studies, English Language and English Literature
5 A
Citizenship, Music, Geography, Science and Additional Science
and a B for Maths- I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad I passed, in my mock exam at christmas I had previously gotten a U, so I am shocked that I never actually have to do maths ever again! :D
That means I get to do all the courses at College that I want to without worrying about catch-up classes or anything, and can now enjoy the rest of the summer before College starts next week

Did I ever think learning to play the cello again was a good idea?
I can't seem to manage to tune the bloody thing, let alone play anything on it! Every time I think I've got it right, the string slips and I have to start all over again. And I thought it was going to be relatively non-stressful.. Current Music: Go Audio-Made Up Stories

Glastonbury was AMAZING!!
Black Kids, Vampire Weekend and Biffy Clyro were, I unashamedly say, immense! They really got the crowd going, even in the rain for Vampire Weekend's set. Decided to see Kings of Leon in the end, and although they were good and I made friends with 'Dennis' the dinosaur, I still would have preferred to see Pete Doherty, still, majority vote and all that. Mark Ronson was a lot better than I expected, although Lily Allen was in a bit of a state, she didn't even know the words to her own song! The ickle duckies I decorated prior to the festival have now been shared with the world! I gave one of them to a clown in the cabaret field, and he held it in his hand looking almost saddened to have a mod duck The other one I gave to a lad who had obviously been on the Blackthorn all day up in the Green Field and was so grateful just to have a small plastic duck, he was almost giddy
There were also a couple of 'aaw' moments, most notably walking through the congregation that was Leonard Cohen's audience on the Pyramid on Sunday, thousands of people singing 'Hallelujah' to each other, absolutely beautiful. Another was watching 'BitterSweet Symphony' by the Verve from our tent and watching a solitary lantern floating up into the sky, a very poignant ending to my very first Glastonbury.
The only regret I have about it all is that I didn't know The Last Shadow Puppets played the Park stage until afterwards, they were one of the special guest acts, would have been brilliant! Well, that and that my friends and I didn't go to the John Peel tent early enough to get a good spot for the Ting Tings, couldn't really hear them from outside the tent. Still, was soo much fun and there was hardly any rain, meaning not much mud thankfully, though just enough to make squelching through it all quite fun

About Tomorrow and Friday!
My college induction is tomorrow morning, I know it sounds geeky but I can't wait to find more out about my A level subjects, and it'll be great to meet new people and kind of start again so to speak. Then in the evening there's my school prom, should be a laugh, my sister dyed some of my hair pink so my only concern is that it doesn't clash with the dress Can't wait to see everyone again and say goodbye to the horrible institution finally. Then after that my friends and I are going to Glastonbury on Friday morning, it's going to be SO hectic but it'll be worth it when we get there, a lot of my family went down today so will be glad to join them and relax at the festival. My only hope is that it doesn't rain, but we all know that's pretty much not going to happen. Still, it's a tough choice between Kings of Leon, Panic at the Disco and Pete Doherty-decisions, decisions...

Arrg, the sun woke me up at half past six this morning and I haven't been able to get back to sleep, so here we are..
FINALLY finished school yesterday, twas brilliant!! Everyone was in such a good mood and were getting along , a lot more than usual, particularly at the after-school 'celebrations' I never thought I would see some of the gangstas cry at leaving their friends
Althought I detest that place, it'll be sad leaving everyone
Still, bring on the summer!!

Today was so surreal, my friends and i met Russell Brand!!
We waited at waterstones for like 4 hours next to some craaaazy people, but was so worth it!! Such a lovely bloke, he called my friend Tom gorgeous and gave me a kiss on the cheek, shame the guards were being mean and kicked some people who had waited 3 hours out! Haha and my other friend had a singalong to the Smiths' Sheila Take a Bow with Russell-AAW!!

Today has been the tip of the iceburg..
There is WAY too much to deal with atm, what with getting all coursework and homework done, as well as writing a review for something that happened months ago of which i cannot recall well, not forgetting doing head girl rubbish as well as having to put up eith assholes who don't listen to a word you say, and those other idiots who keep telling me what a crap job i'm doing, though they are probably right..
To top all THAT off, i also had a huge row today with one of my 'friends' as he has been insulting and belittling me.
AAAAAAAGH!!! pretty much sums it all up
