Noble Silence

Many times when we present our thoughts or position on a matter, we can be correct and still fail to speak the truth. The truth reconciles and heals. When we present our position or are attacked for the position we take; we can lose sight of the fact that it can be better not to defend ourselves, than to defend ourselves in a manner that causes another to suffer. When we cause another to suffer, we cause ourselves to suffer. This is violence in thoughts and words. I have taken an opportunity of noble silence to reflect on these things. I am still reflecting on them. Silence becomes noble when it is self instructive. I seek the truth. In the near future I may return to this forum. I hope to be an asset.

	By defending your beliefs you may hurt others, but by not defending what you think is right you might perceive yourself as inflicting far more hurt than the defense ever could. I wish you luck on deciding, and for my part hope you choose as you see wisely.
