I was in the delivery room with her up until the baby started crowning, and back in as soon as he was out. Anyway. I started to leave a message, and just started crying. I don;t get home sick very much, but when i do, god. its horrible.

June 07, 2006 @ 06:44:06 am | One of the guys in my husbands squad recently got promoted to SGT, so he thinks he's hot s**t now. So today he tells everyone they have to have their BDUs ironed in the morning.
my husband, however, neglected to tell me this until just now. almost midnight. So not only do i have to wash his BDUs first (he also forgot he was out of clean ones) i have to iron them....
bed by 2am maybe?

October 20, 2005 @ 04:38:35 am | i hate not knowing if i should be getting ready to hold up the fort or evacuating. Right now with their projected path, i won't have to leave, but if it doesn't turn in time, then we could be in trouble. i have lists galore: things to do, things to buy, things to pack/have on hand/protect. nuts. hopefully if we need to i can convince my grandfather to leave and hopefully we can beat trafic..
tomorrow:
- get david's package in the mail and the hell out of here
- pick up three cat carriers (1 for kittie, 1 for piggy and ET, 1 for fluffy-pants and gray cat if that lady doesn't come back for them)
- non-parishables, i cannot live off canned peaches and sardines for two weeks, sorry, thanks
- call david's dad, helen, and my grandmother
- find that knife david gave me, never know when i might need that!
- charge phone, cameras, camcorder (insurance purposes...and maybe some urm, interesting pictures to show the grandchildren one day.3 comments | Reply |
