Vincent - who denied that a miracle occurred in the apartment when the kid with the "hand cannon" fired six point blank shots and missed them both - got shot and killed by Butch when Butch went back to his apartment to find his dad's watch.
Jules - who maintained that they literally experienced the hand of god in that apartment - renounced violence and decided to spend his life devoted to god wandering the earth. Jules then proceeds to foil a diner robbery by Ringo and have a nice deep, long conversation with him. Instead of simply killing him, as he would have in the past, Jules convinces him to walk away, and everyone is wiser and lives through the experience. Jules walks out of the diner, a thoughtful, wise teacher. |
