Some people think before they cheat, some don't, this is true of both relationships and other scenarios where cheating is involved.

When it considering the relationship variety it is probably safe to say that the mind becomes clouded when the libido is exited. A wank in the bathroom would probably save many a worthy relationship, as once the libido calms some again it won't cloud your brain so much with thoughts of procreation.

Being horny is next to being brainwashed. Unless love or some other strong motivation is involved it can eat you up and spit you out before you realise what is going on. Though, in a relationship where you actually Love your partner there are no such questions. They just don't arise.
