I love to review both candidates pasts, education, experience, and goals. I just flip-flopped! Now that I am a veteran, active duty privledges, laws, bills, etc hardly effect me. So, lately I've been looking into veterans affairs and what each candidate would do.
Obama is offering way better resolution to veterans! At first I was upset becuase every year in active duty our pay increases 5%. Obama was going to stop that, but what I failed to realize was that it's becuase he is wants to take that extra 5% and put it into our new GI bill, TA, and medical benefits 
Well, it's made me dig deeper and deeper into the veteran/active duty issues, and Obama seems to be more genuine about it, and setforth to really hold to his word. I was never really for Mccain as it was. I wanted Romney or Thompson, and then Paul.
Anyway, as it stands, from a vets point of view from this current war, I am now for Obama  I love Palin and Mccain is honkey-dorey, but until they can outdo Obama for all us military, they ain't getting my vote  Reply |
