First day back at school

well well well... survived the first day back without any major drama.
A few comments about my hair (which was expected) and of course the lovely gossip at lunch...

Some stuck up little bitch who went there when I dropped out had apparently said something like "Looks like it'll be a circus around here again" when she saw me and I know others had something to say as well 'cause me and a friend could hear people talking, but the stupid assholes couldn't say anything to my face.

So my little message to them would be

and on another note, it took me like an hour and a half to walk home from school and I am soooo not gonna start doing that every day

The Marines were backing-up LAPD on a call that someone had broken into a store.

At the scene, the cop told the Marines to "cover" him as he approached the store (to police, "cover" means to point your weapons in the direction of the threat, to Marines it means lay down a base of fire!).

The Marines promptly laid down a base of fire. The Marines fired 178 rounds before they stopped shooting.

The thief, scared and crying at this point, called 911 and reported, "They're shooting at me!". ""

I don't know if this is actually true but I can see it actually happening.
