My Mother's Day

How lucky am i? Mother's Day was a fantastic day! My kids, Matthew (22) and Allyson (20) made for me a very special day. I got to sleep in a bit then i got waited on hand and foot all day! Hey- i'm usually the one doing that for them! It's pretty wierd letting others do for me for a change but i enjoyed the day immensely. They even cooked AGAIN for all of us on my new grill! We had chicken kabobs and steak with all the trimmings! Yum, it was delish!
Sometimes when i look at them, i watch them being "people"...
not just "my kids". I know that i had a big influence on them; i see their hearts. They're such sweet & loving and kind people. Yay!! It's not easy at all for me to say good things about myself- self esteem isn't where it should be after certain life issues, but YAY- i did a great job with them!
