| For every soul there is a mate, and every mate shares a voice. . . . Full now was my sight on this creature that disturbed thy all too vacant retreat into a stress-less venue. He was tall but it fit him, the facial features were slightly more difficult to identify. I had then begun to prop myself into a position that eased my attempt at standing. No need, for as soon as the stranger seen my motion, he brought his left palm to meet mine; to aid in my slanted assent. Once again upon my own feet, there was an eerie silent and yet there was a vibe in the air I could not place. It was if the stranger was trying to coil me into his eyes alone but with neither a word or touch. “My reverie is often short lived, so yes you may. “ I said this in kind of a respected granitite, yet I knew not but why. I respected him for his peculiar manner and stance. Either he was an intoxicated mortal, a very sheltered one, or something else completely.
“Couldn’t help but notice your deterrent gaze as you walked by, so I took it upon myself to awaken you from your curious entrancement” He said with a smirk. “ I am grateful, though I think I could of survived a few more hours “ We both joined in quaint laughter more so because we had not much more to say then that the words were actually humorous. “ Wanderer are we?” I asked him with a slight hum in my voice. Silence was all to annoying at this point so small talk was better then nothing. “You might say that, but my meanderings have purpose, and yours?” he asked as calmly as everything was content with the world. “Mine was of more soul searching escapade I believe” It was the truth, escaping the fact that I was blatant to everything including this moment. “Ah, A fruitless venture for many, I gave up on that chase many years ago” With a smirk and hardly giving me time to answer or breath for that matter. “Care to join me on this most, useful evening?” He asked with an extended arm towards the Side walk nearest.
A stranger awakens me and then tries to carouse me into getting closer to him. I might not be of this world but I wasn’t dumb of its reputation. He would need to have a reason to even decide to speak to me. I was leery but I was tired of doing nothing so I nodded, even though I avoided his hand as he grabbed for my shoulder; he still walked intently at my side. The air was shrill, yet the wind was hardly alive. As we walked the silence of it all was a spectacle I’ll emit. He said not a word for what had to be three quarters of an hour; until we reached the shore of a lake. Lake, Oasis I believe they called it.
The stranger and I just stared out into moon lit waters and out of relief I out took a sigh. He then turned to me, “Interesting…” He rallied. I just looked back and wondered... “What is?” I said nearly under my breath. With a quick gaze into my eyes and a return to the moon he explained. “Just interesting in the fact that you sigh, releasing your stress... giving it to the moon I suppose?” I chuckled, for this stranger was that of his name sake; Strange. What was about him that aloud me to trust him? His aura was dark and that of a snake. More likely we wanted something for his self out of every word he churned out.
At that revelation I took every word he spoke and treated with quarantine. He then closed his eyes, he had been saying something but I wasn’t listening I was to tasked in my own paranoid thoughts. As my ears and all that around thee returned to reality; the waves of the lake were now reiterating my once pleasurable entrancement. I to closed my eyes and took in the energy the waves were giving us. As if time was never there and existence all but a dream; pure and unyielding darkness over took my mind. All was black and nothing was its breath. Current Music: Other ppl typing... my own included.. o yes and PAIN!
