Ok, so I live about an hour drive from Toronto, Ontario, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Although the venue is close enough, tickets are very hard to come by. Unless you are a season ticket holder then scalpers and ebay is really your only solid option for scoring tickets to see the Leafs play. Anyway long story short, my dad is a big fan, he plays hockey for fun on Sundays, and never misses watching any NHL games when the Leafs are playing.
This Saturday is thier home game opener, and they are also playing another Canadian team, Montreal Canadians, so the game is going to be rocking, and the crowd most definately totally wild.
My dad can't wait to watch them play on t.v but................

I bought tickets for him and my mom to go see it live instead!

May sound cheesy to some of you, but I am sooo excited to give them to him tonight. He hasn't been to a Leafs game in years...and I am pretty sure he has only ever been one time.
I got him tickets in the gold section, 12 rows off the ice, so he is going to have such an awesome time!!!!!
So even if you hate hockey, or the Leafs, or sports in general....let's have a big Go Leaf's Go, saturday night for my daddy.

That's a helluva nice thing to do for your dad. But, I'm a Nashville Predator fan and we're not moving to Hamilton.

So I gave them to him tonight and he was completely stoked!
He said that there will also be old hockey greats there for an opening ceremony.

It's a good feeling to give back to someone who provided for me my whole life.

Anyway, so yeah, excitement all worth it...thanks!
