Public entry Da Bike
April 26, 2006 @ 08:00:39 am
I received my new (and first) bike on 22nd April '06, it is a Suzuki GSR600.

Ive been waiting 6 months for it having passed my test back in October.

I had a little trouble to bigin with (I dropped it ) but it handles well and gives me no problems whilst on the move.

Hope you dont hurt yourself on the bike if it drops itself to much.
Ive always had a fear of going on a motorbike, are they as dangerous as i believe?

I have a honda cr80r, i ride it mostly every week, i am too young to go for my motorbike licence, sadly, but i am most likely using my bike until im about 18 years old, and i have mastered it now, but its still fun!!!

Awesome! glad it didnt break when you dropped it..

I really want a Motorbike, check out my profile for a pic. its a CBR125, Probally get a cheaper bike first, to learn how to ride one, and see if i like it before i get the CBR125.

Was the test hard?

It wasnt the bikes fault, it was me doing U turn on odd camber, lol
The bikes themselves are not dangerous as long as you handle them proper, however, ive found that the main danger comes from other vehicles that dont see you.

Take it easy, Dave.

Dont know what the laws are like in auss but here you have to be 16 to take a CBT test which alows you to ride a 125 with 'L' plates from that you can go on to the full test at 18 which alows you to ride any bike.

The CBT is not hard, just ride around a carpark and half hour out on the road. The Full test isnt bad, I passed on my second attempt, but thats only cuz im bad at U turns. Good luck with yours.

The picture is of the same model as mine for the exeption that the tank and rear seat is dark blue
