I'm excited about my new job, after 5 years off I've gone back to work.
I spent about 20 years in the lighting industry, and now I'm embarking on the Home Appliances industry, and wow, the things you don't know about doing laundry!!!
Anyhow...I found out something very interesting the other day...
The consumer reports that are out there are really out to lunch.
I guess they don't use very fair practices, and take payments to make someones product higher on the list.
As an example...
Kenmore washers are made primarily by Whirlpool...and more often then not, Kenmore is up at the top of the list, and the Whirlpool model is much lower down, and yet they are exactly the same product.
Anyhow...thought you might be interested in that little bit of info...I'm learning a lot about these things, and I'm like wow...

May 26, 2007 @ 07:48:13 pm | Hello everyone...I'm very excited as tonight my brother is doing his first Gig as a Niel Diamond Look Alike, Sound Alike impersonator. He really does sound like Niel, and has been singing in his Karioki show's for years now...but this is his launch as an impersonator.
Anyhow, his show is a dinner/show which sold out the 53 tickets at 45.00 each!! (and we don't have a big family...so it was not all us).
He also burned a CD he will sell at the show with him singing etc...it is really cool.
If you are at all interested in hearing him, he has a mixed track on his web site. www.doitall.ca and click on The Diamond Experience...it will automatically load.
Yippy for my Baby Brother.

It has been a long time since I've been logged on, and many things have changed.
About three months ago, my husband and I moved up to Canada...Victoria BC in fact...it is very nice.
I was actually raised in Alberta, while I'm an American Citizen by birth, my parents re located up here when I was 4...so in a sense I'm back home.
It is nice I have to admit to be close to my family, and to have the kids get to know there aunt and uncle and cousins.
Anyhow...I thought I'd drop by and re aquant myself here...as I have truly enjoyed my experence on this site, and now that I have a bit of time again am going to start posting.

Man I'm feeling like a complainer latly, my body seems to be falling apart...LOL...my back and neck are out really bad and I can't afford a treatment...so i'm maintaning, but it is quite painful.
My allergies are off the chart today, need some stuff to get them back into control...a trip to the store is in order...yippy...hope that check comes in.
My husband lost his job two weeks ago and we are not sure if he will get unemployment.
I opened my store up at a second hand store three weeks ago...but it is not supporting us yet...and I'm hoping it will pick up this week so we can at least pay the rent.
I've got to clean up some old business, get a project finished...for which I need a couple thousand dollers...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that.
LOL
See I'm complaining.
I'm heading into this day optimistic, and actually feeling good in that respect, but with a fat eye and headacke from allergies...and lack of sleep.
I Need Energy.
Don't know how many of you understand the concept of sending Loving and Suportive energy to someone else, in simple terms it is like prayer.
I could use a bunch today, to help me heal and kick start my physical system so I can really make a difference today.
LOL...like all things in this world this is a temporary situation...and very soon, today or tommorrow it will all be a situation of the past.

LOL...how do I take that off...a nice little banner would do ...but this just takes away from it...or so I think>

This beats the last busiest month ever, March 2008, that had over 85,000 posts. Additionally, more than 2/3rds of the busiest days ever were in April.
