Question for the ladies

I have a question I have been with the same guy for about a year now but we have been friends and talking for a year. I love him with all my heart but I worry that I am going to get hurt. Should I let my worries get to me? Or should I just say forget the pa** he is the one I need; since he hasn't done anything wrong or to hurt me? I think that I am letting my pa** relationship bother me but I cant figure out how to get pa** it all.
