It's not my wedding, it's not m wedding, it's my wedding.
Why do people (who are getting married) insist that everyone act like it's their ?
I love my cousin but I refuse to run myself ragged for her wedding. Why should I? How will it benefit me? All it will do is validate her behavior.

I wish it were that easy. First, she asks me to be a bridesmaid. Okay. Then all hell broke out from there. I was okay with everything when all I had to do was show up. Next thing I know, I'm helping with the invitations, then the programs, then the picture slideshow, then the vows. Now she wants me to help with the bridal shower (which is co-hosting with her MOHs). And then afterwards she wants me to help with the favors. Excuse me. I thought I was a relative, not paid help. She is still upset that I refuse to get my nails done or cut my hair.
With all the stuff she has delegated to everyone else and thus micromanaging her own wedding, this thing really shouldn't have my cousin and her HTB's name on it. It should have mine, my mom's, my aunt's, 2 of my great aunts', 2 of my 2nd cousin's, my brother's and my grandparent's name on this thing because we have been the ones running around doing stuff. All she has pretty much done is aye or nay or twick our ideas. That's it. Ohhhhh..... I wouldn't be so upset if she acknowledged that we don't have to do all this for her. She is actually like we have to do all this for her because we're family and we love her. So of course, we would.

I'll just have to take solace in the fact that I would do things differently. I think my mom is actually more happy about that than I am. |

Awww no! How slefish is she? I did my best for my cousin at her wedding. I was the only one there with her when she was giving the birth of her daughter, but now she doesn't even come by to say hello. People don't worth it. |
