Public entry never give up
April 04, 2008 @ 10:55:13 pm
i have always done my best to succeed. from school, work, and family. it doesnt matter if it takes a minute or a lifetime to fullfil your dreams. as long as you try it is worth it. you get a feeling of fullfilment and content. even if you fail a few times along the way, in your mind you know you did your best.

the real failure is when you dont try and just hope things will work out.

so remember keep smiling and trying. sooner or later things will go your way.

Public entry angels
April 04, 2008 @ 10:53:11 pm
if you are having a bad day and things are going wrong. dont give up hope that nothing will make it better,
you never know who might be going through some of the same problems, and understand what you are feeling. just to know they are there to talk to makes you realize that not all society is ignorant of other peoples needs.

so remember, never give up hope that no one understands and wants to help. hope will find its way to you. just listen or look carefully and it will be there. whether its a few words from a friend or a helping hand from a stranger. there are angels out there watching us, even if we dont see them. they are there to help, even if its through other people

Public entry ignorance
April 04, 2008 @ 10:46:15 pm
everyday i look around and see the same thing. People. It doesnt matter what color their skin is, how rich they are, how tall or short they are, how fat or skinny they look or if they have a disability because underneath all this stuff we are all the same.

we all live day to day, go to work (if we are able) make friends and if we are lucky fall in love and have children. so next time you see someone who is different and you are ready to make some racist or hurtful remark, take a second and think about what you are doing. take a look in the mirror and think how you would feel if you were the one being made fun of.

Public entry beauty
April 04, 2008 @ 10:44:14 pm
every day another child hurts themselves because of all the peer pressure to fit in. we are sending the wrong message to our children (especially girls) about image and beauty.

here is a poem I wrote that tells all about it:

BEAUTY

These days girls dont understand
they're playing with a deadly hand
when they dont stop and realize
there is no need to disguise
how they look inside and out
thats not what beauty is about
diet pills and never eating
makes their body take a beating
all because they want to be
as thin as models on t.v.
images around the world
are scarring self esteem of girls
who think they will never fit in
unless they are pretty and thin
why cant they just realize
its not whats before thier eyes
that makes them who they really are
its only whats inside thier hearts
that proves how special they can be
giving them thier true beauty

Public entry children and family time
April 04, 2008 @ 10:39:53 pm
This goes out to all the mothers and fathers out there who think that thier children are not getting enough love if money isnt being spent on them all the time.

I would just like to say that money does NOT buy happines or love. I am not rich by any means. But my children are supplied enough love every day to last a lifetime. And it is not through video games, computers, or any other material items you can buy in the store.

It is through the love in my heart and the time spent with them. when I take them out we dont spend a lot. they just like being with me and looking around places. Yes if there is extra money to spend I will definitely get them something.

But the real joy is just being together and having fun. Even though they are teenagers and I am an adult (most of the time) we still act like children almost every day of the week. Pillow fights, water fights with the sink sprayer, scaring each other, etc. brings more togetherness and love than everyone in separate rooms doing differnet things.

I admit they have their own computer and I have mine. but we do things on them as a family. right now my daughter is helping me make a video for you tube and my son is my personal geek squad for computer problems.

so just remember, money and material things dont bring togetherness unless you use them together.

FAMILIES NEED LOVE AND CLOSENESS WHICH IS FREE AND EASY TO FIND IF YOU JUST LOOK IN YOUR HEART TO SEE IT.
