So Friday afternoon we head off to the show. Left at 130 and it's about 2 hours down there. halfway down, the truck/trailer started acting up and my mom could not go above 30 as it would shake/vibrate. I was driving her car down. My cousin was with me, my aunt with my mom. So the 2 hour drive turned into 3.5 hrs. Got the truck towed and the next day it was fixed. there was something wrong with the wiring. Go to leave today and the truck would not start. There's something wrong with the trailer wiring also and it sucked the battery down over night. So had to come home with no lights or brakes on the trailer as could not hook the wiring up.
Then we get to the show on Friday and realized we forgot a horse. So of course that became my fault. And I got into with my aunt over supper and my mom tore into me once we got to our hotel room. She said some nasty ugly words and I was ready to storm out and hitch home she had pissed off so bad.
So Saturday morning we were all in better moods and the day went fast. We had alot of horses to show and we were in rush show mode. We did OK. Willow didn't, but she doesn't look that good right now, but she behaved very well and made me proud
By 500 I was dehydrated and almost passed out but made it thru. Did I mention it was hothothot???????
Sunday morning classes went fast and after gettng a jump for the truck, we left and made it back home early afternoon.
Now one of my cousins' horses is colicking, which is life threatening, so hopefully he pulls thru.
I do not want to repeat a weekend like this ever again!!!
