So yesterday morning at about 2am my friends and i left Odessa and drove to Lubbock we got there about 5am and we waited for a concert that started at 8pm. It was actually the best wait we've had in a while, normally we have people that show up a few hours after us so we have to sit outside in the sun all day but yesterday no one showed up till about 3pm so we got to sit in the car. Plus there was a nice breeze blowing so the 90 degree weather was not that bad.
Anyways it was seriously the best Cobra Starship / We The Kings concert we have ever seen, there was no pushing, no crowd surfing, no nothing. It was awesome. We were able to dance our asses off without worrying about people being up in our s**t. I am still in shock at how laid back it was. Normally their concerts we are all smashed into the stage like sardines.
But anyways i guess that was my excitement for the week because now i have to work 9 nights straight without a day off. <3

I hate having songs stuck in my head, i just finished watching Across The Universe. Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone that i missed while i was away from here. Of course i have reasons for my departure which i will write about in a journal to my friends only :P i know you guys are all jealous now (not) anyways, it doesn't matter i guess cause i have returned  so hooray hooray lets have a party?  | |

In my home town they had massive flooding, they are up to 18 inches of rain and are expecting at least 6 more tonight. Here is a video that Justins mom made of the flood damage. Apparently there has been a lot of wreckage, and my brothers house was flooded out, so it was pretty bad. Hopefully it won't get any worse!  | |

Ok so the concert was on Wednesday, but we had somethings to do in our home town on Tuesday so we work up Tuesday morning at 10am.
Well Tuesday night we were deciding when we would get to the concert on Wednesday and decided that we wanted to be there at 4am, (the concert started at 6pm) So since it was already 2am Ashley and i decided not to go to sleep, and just stay up.
So at 4am on Wednesday morning we drove to the place where the concert was being held. Lucky we were the first ones there, so we just sat around and played cards and what not. Well the next people showed up at 8am. Well then one of the guys that went with us (Doug) had to drive back home, because he forgot to leave work some keys, so Ashley left to take him to his car at Ashley's house. While she was gone it started pouring rain. So Karinna and i plus the 4 other girls that showed up, were all standing under this over head thing, while it was massively raining for like 3 hours. Then Ashley came back and it sprinkled for the rest of the time we were out there waiting.
At about 2pm Ashley had to go back to her house to get Doug, and get Karinna and I some pizza. Which was awesome because we were wet and miserable. This was also about the time that everyone else started showing up so we actually had to form a line, and what not.
So by this time we had made friends with the 4 girls that showed up at 8pm which was awesome cause we were bored. The opened the doors at 5pm and as soon as Karinna and i got checked we RAN! like we were running from a monster, all the way down to the pit. Which by the was was a massively long run and since i had been awake for 31 hours it was even worse. lol
But we made front row thank goodness, so it was worth it.
Cobra Starship played first, they were so awesome but they didn't have long enough set time so we were kind of sad. Gabe and Nate are so f**king gorgeous!
Then Paul Wall played and that guy is such a joke, i was so glad when he got off stage.
Then The Academy is... played and they were amazing, one of my new favorite bands! Can't wait till they come back to texas because we will be there!
Then +44 played and they sucked, i mean it was just like they were blink 182 all over again. If you are going to form a new band it would be nice if you would form a new sound as well. But Travis was amazing on the drums, man that boy can play
After that Fall Out Boy came on, which i am not the biggest fan of them but they put on a great show! They popped out of the floor to come on stage, and then at one point Pete and the other guitarist halfway changed on stage Then Pete jumped into the crowd which was awesome, he held Ashley's hand lmao. And then they had fire and all that jazz. At the end of the show they had this confetti shoot out, it was crazy, it just kept coming and coming. we were covered in it lmao!
Well the barricade was kind of s**tty, Karinna and i thought we were going to fall through like a million times, but Ashley was on this different style of barricade so she was safer. And the crowd surfing is outrages. It really ruins the concert for anyone at the front. Because they kept falling on us so we couldn't watch the show.
It was completely worth the 37 hours that i was awake! I cant wait to see cobra and the academy again.  Karinna took her camera, so i have to wait until she gives me the pictures before i can show you  | |

Since i didn't go to sleep last night it gave me two things.
1. I learned how much i like Damian Rice
2. The sunrise is amazing.

So I have one more day of work then i am off for four days, which in these four days, i am going to a concert:

And I'm getting my hair cut, and hopefully my dad will work on my car while i am home, so that way i don't have to pay someone to do it lol
Plus this morning i bought Muse tickets, and that concert is in September so i have that to look forward to
And i talk to my boss today, and told her was was going on with the Lead lady, and hopefully she deals with it before i get back from vacation
Anyways, even though I'm super tired I'm in a great mood, so i hope everyone had a good weekend

Ok i guess i didn't really have anything that was a seriously wtf moment but if it got you here then i guess that is good enough 
I never understood why people stayed at jobs they hate, but i am understanding it more and more everyday. Right now i have to go to work in 1 1/2 hours. And i am dreading it, i hate that place. And my boss has the weekend off which means that people are going to be treating me like even more crap then they do when she is there.
The sad part is, that i like what i do, and i don't think i can go any where else and do what i do there. Plus since it's summer no one is going to be hiring because all of the school kids are going to be out of school and working.
Blah, i hate feeling trapped which is what i feel right now  I wish i had the money to just up and quit, but i think my dad would kill me if i did that again 
Oh well i guess i am just going to have to get out there and find a new job So wish me luck with that lol
In other news there was a problem at the box office so we haven't gotten muse tickets yet 
Since i did bring you all the way in here for nothing you can look at this pretty picture, by this time next year it would be nice to be here:

Oh My Gosh!!! They are coming to Dallas!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! hooray hooray!!! Ashley isnt answering her phone, and we have been saying that when they are within a 5 hour drive from us we are going! It's on like donkey kong!!!!!
