i was touched deeply

today my exboyfriend's mom deeply touched my heart. i had come back in from delivering a Christmas card and she was standing in the band room. well, even though Noah and i are no longer dating, everytime his mom and i run into eachother we'll stop and talk for a few minutes. when i came in i saw she had a gift bag and a balloon. i go over to her and she says 'happy birthday'. she had gotten me some gifts for my birthday and Christmas with a card. as soon as she walked off i started crying. she is one of the sweetest people i have ever met.

ok, the guy that i had been dating for almost 4 months (which is a long time for me) broke up with me almost 3 weeks ago. i thought i was over it, but now i'm getting down again. i don't know how to get over this. i know time heals wounds that nothing else can heal but is there anything that can help the process along? i really want to get out of the depressive state.
