106813 points | I've made several 8 hour trips down to the DC area. My last one was in a car that seated five. My father drove, my grandmother sat in the passenger's seat, I sat in the back with my mother and my German shepherd mix, as well as my grandmother's small dog. Unfortunately, my grandmother's dog doesn't like my dog, and would try to bite her. That was an interesting car ride.
I also endured a five hour car ride home from Staten Island (a trip that normally takes about an hour) when the Belt Parkway got flooded from rain. Cars were breaking down and exits were being blocked off because there was so much rain.
Worst of all, I was stuck in traffic WITHOUT MUSIC. onooooos |
