as i sat there on the floor,
my heart wasn't beating anymore.
as i felt my hopes fall,
i wondered how i had lost it all.
as the pain pierced my skin,
i realized i could never win.
as my blood turned icy cold,
i tried my best to be bold.
as i cried my bloody tears,
i was overcome by my many fears.
as i tried not to fail,
i wondered how i could prevail.
as i wandered this empty place,
a look of pure sorrow was on my face.
as i killed myself from the inside out,
i couldn't tell anyone what it was all about.
as i layed there dying in the rain,
pure sorrow was driving me insane.
as my heart grew silent and still,
of pure sorrow, i had already had my fill. | |
