Public entry My New Camera!
May 04, 2006 @ 04:03:20 pm

Ok, so I'm getting a new camera, it's a Digital SLR (would I get anything less, lol), and it's
called the Nikon D200.

Image hosted by Pimp My Profile

It has 10.2 megapixels, can shot in all formats (RAW, TIFF, JPEG), is one of the first digital
cameras to have the multi-exposure function, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, and the most modern
noise-reduction system.

A lot may not know what all that means, so I put is this way, it's one AMAZING CAMERA!!!
Mind you, it isn't top of the line, but I only had a $3000 limit, and with the lens and the 1 GB
card I'm getting, that's it. But either way, YAY!!!

Just kidding. Nice camera. I can't wait until I can get the top of the line Canon.

Well, I might have bought a Canon one, Like the Canon EOS 5D, but it's $4000 just for the
body, it's a god of a camera, but too expensive, lol.

Haha, well, actually, the money's going on my student-line-of-credit. Yay for buying things
that you can say are school supplies.

I've played around with that kind of camera before, it's a hybrid model, it's like have
simplicity of a point and shoot, joined with many features of a D-SLR. You can get some nice
pics with those things.

Well, it partially dishonesty. I mean, technically, it is school supplies since I'm studying
photography at school, and it's highly recommended that we get a D-SLR in our second year,
also, my student line of credit is something I can use on anything, I just have a limited
amount of time to pay it back, as well as interest.

I have to admit I've only used the preset point-and-shoot settings before, but the Sport function is ace for action shots

I surf the net. You can get some AMAZING deals on cameras. I wait until the new ones come out, then a month later, start drooling.
