Public entry The Freedom Ship
November 29, 2006 @ 06:43:29 pm
The Freedom Ship has little in common with a conventional ship; it is actually nothing more than a big barge.
The bolt-up construction and the unusually large amount of steel incorporated into the ship meets the design engineer's requirements for stability and structural integrity and the cost engineers requirements of "economic feasibility" but the downside is a severe reduction in top speed, making the ship useless for any existing requirements. For example, it would be too slow to be a cruise ship or a cargo ship.
But what if this big, overweight, barge was assigned a voyage that required slowly cruising around the world, hugging the shoreline, and completing one revolution every 3 years? If the designers then incorporated the following amenities into this barge, what would be the results?
• 18,000 living units, with prices in the range of $180,000 to $2.5 million, including a small number of premium suites currently priced up to $44 million.
• 3,000 commercial units in a similar price range
• 2,400 time-share units
• 10,000 hotel units
• A World Cla** Casino
• A ferryboat transportation system that provides departures every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, to 3 or more local cities giving ship residents access to the local neighborhood and up to 30,000 land-based residents a chance to spend a day on the ship.
• A World-Cla** Medical Facility practicing Western and Eastern medicine as well as preventive and anti-aging medicine.
• A School System that gives the students a chance to take a field trip into a different Country each week for academic purposes or to compete with local schools in numerous sporting events. For example; The Freedom Ship High School Soccer team plays a Paris High School team this week at home and an Italian team next week in Italy, while the Freedom Ship High School Band presents a New Orleans Jazz musical at a concert hall in London.
• An International Trade Center that gives on-board companies and shops the opportunity to show and sell their products in a different Country each week.
• More than 100 acres of outdoor Park, Recreation, Exercise and Community space for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.

Public entry How The Richest People Spend Their Money?
November 27, 2006 @ 05:31:14 pm
I watched Travel and Living in my cabin last night but until now (after more than 24 hours) I still can’t put out off my mind what I saw. I am not talking about some unsavory, unappetizing, disgusting, sickening, nauseating (whatever you wanna call) acts of violence we often see on TV’s. I don’t remember Travel and Living Channel ever featured this genre. Once they tried, I don’t know where their debris be recovered.
Last night, my eyes hooked on what the richest people do with their money. I just can’t imagine that these people would spend not just great amount of money but extremely great and enormous bulk of money for fancy cars, expensive resort residences and the likes. To me these really sound very eccentric knowing for a fact that a lot of people are starving and homeless. Why can’t these extremely super rich people think of some ways to spend their money?
Well, we are not in the position to condemn their way of spending because after all it is their very own money. I am just thinking if these people would be philanthropic and good enough to lend US$ 1 million without interest!!! Anyone in Yahoo! 360 just discover that I am crazy? LOL

Public entry Yahoo! SDwitched Off My Website
November 22, 2006 @ 06:06:38 pm
I just created my free website at Yahoo!Geocities but I cannot access it anymore. I have to wait for another month because I exceeded the 4.5MB of data transfer. So annoying spending a few hours on it right? Anyone have any idea of a site that offers free hosting?

Public entry Tom Cruise And Tomcat Wed In Italian Castle
November 18, 2006 @ 09:21:12 pm
BRACCIANO, Italy - In a fairy-tale setting fit for royals, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes crowned their love story Saturday with a wedding in a 15th-century castle in a usually sleepy, medieval lakeside town. Cruise and Holmes exchanged vows in an evening ceremony in the Odescalchi Castle, "Entertainment Tonight" said, citing Cruise's publicist Arnold Robinson. The TV show, which first reported the news, said on its Web site that Italian singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple afterward.

Public entry I Don't Wanna Be a Safety Officer Again!!!
November 17, 2006 @ 06:20:00 pm
Whahhhh..... LOL. I am just so ecstatic right this moment. Our ship once again passed the Flag State Survey. Our ship Safety Officer must have been doing all his efforts. Our Captain must have given him some Scotch on account of his dedication and enduring force behind the success of the survey.
When I was the Safety Officer of this same ship 3 years ago, it was so bad experience for me. Know why? The ship did not pa** the survey. It was a Passenger Ship Safety Certificate Survey or PSSC Survey. And since I was the Safety Officer during that time, all the blames were turned back towards me. It was really a moment of shame and humiliation in my part. I really regretted the day I accepted the promotion that my Croatian Captain endorsed. Anyhow, I managed to get over into it and I would never again embrace myself for that position someday – it was so discouraging.
