It all started this morning when my mom told me that my dog is getting really bad. Almost 13 years old. I guess they put him outside today and he laid under the deck for 3 hours because he couldn't get himself up. My parents had to carry him into the house. Then he wanted to go upstairs and my mom had to carry him upstairs too. He won't eat, he won't drink (and when he does he throws it up). He's skin and bones and he's losing control of his bladder.
Well at that time I was really upset (it was about 10 AM this morning) so I went to call my best friend Aubrey. I call her and her mom tells me that she took aubrey to the emergency room this morning because she has some kind of infection. She said that she was at work all night and when she came home at like 6:30 this morning, Aubrey was crying in her room because it hurt so bad. They gave her 2 shots of morphine. I was worried about my dog, worried about her.
So then I go into work at 10:30 AM I had to open. Driver comes in at 11 and we got SLAMMED. She was on deliveries and I was the ONLY one in the shop, answering phones that wouldn't stop ringing, running to the pizza side making pizzas, running to make chicken, working on making and stretching dough. It was extremely stressful. Then we started to get phone calls from the owner in macedonia and something the owner said made melissa (the driver) mad so she was on a rant the ENTIRE rest of the day. Then the other kitchen person comes in at 4:30 and we are counting the money so that I can leave and go home. Count it the first time and I'm like $20 dollars short. Count it about 3 more times and still am. Finally figured out that Melissa never fully paid all of the deliveries so we had to call her back in. She was pissed.
So then I'm leaving the place a stressed mess and I hate our employee parking lot it's almost impossible to maneuver. Well, I hit Kristen (another employees) car. That just took me over the edge. I started balling. I was afraid she was going to hate me and what my dad would do. She has a huge dent, a large scratch, and her rims are a little dented and stuff too. It took a little number on my car too. Luckily for me she wasn't mad. She just got my insurance info. The manager at work (Tina) told me to just sit outside on the bench for a little bit to gather myself because I was crying really hard. I called my mom and could hardly talk to her I was crying so much. We put down the phone after a few minutes and then about 5 minutes later my dad called me saying my mom and brother are coming to pick me up because they didn't want me to drive so upset. So then I had to tell him what happened and I was crying so hard on the phone I was practically hyperventilating, i could hardly breathe. Tina and Melissa were nervous as to if I was going to be alright. Tina told me to just go home and take a night hot bubble bath. Mom and Zach finally come, look at my car look at hers. Talk to Kristen about it, Kristen just put a hand on my shoulder and told me to just relax and that she wasn't mad at me. We found me another place to park for now on since I'm not doing too well with this parking lot. My brother drove my car home and he had a hell of a time getting out also.
So then I get home, still crying my eyes out, and I go over to see how my friends doing. She's feeling better but not much. After about an hour of visiting her I go back home and my mom and zach told me that my dog is doing even worse. They said that they don't think he's going to last through tonight. Oh geez here comes to the tears again.
ok... I'm done now. |
