This speech season is nearly over. We have one tournament left. The district tournament which is the state qualifying tournament. Then, if I qualify for states I have two more tournaments. Big districts qualities for nationals but prose poetry doesn't go to nationals.

So here is how I've done this season!

Keep in mind.. ranks go from 1-# of people in round. 1 is best and the lowest is worst (7)

First tournament- 1,1,1,3 semi-final round (top 12 people) 4,4,6 meaning I didn't make it to the finals.
Second tournament - Chicago.. I was told I needed 5 minutes of prose and 5 of poetry but it turned out I need 10 of both SOOOO I was way undertime.. bad bad bad 7,5,6,6
Third tournament- 3,5,2
Fourth tournament- 3,5,4
Sixth tournament- 1,1,1 final round 2,2,6 (SECOND PLACE WOO)
Seventh tournament- 2,1,2 (FIFTH PLACE WOO)
Eighth tournament- 4,4,3
Ninth tournament- 3,6,2 (92 prose poeters over all EEK)
Tenth tournament- (5 rounds total) 2,2,5,3,1 (drop the lowest score which is the 5. THE TOP 12 PEOPLE MADE IT TO THE SEMI FINAL ROUND AND I GOT 13TH IT WAS A MAJOR BUMMMMMERRRR )

Then districts is in two weeks!! My coaches and myself are adding something into my speech to make it even more dramatic which means I'm going to be a practicing machine these next two weeks.

I earned a total of 96 points so far this season! Last season I earned 88 total including districts so this means that I'm doing a TON better this season. Unfortunately it's almost over.
