I think it sucks!!
I hate stereotypes, because they are stupid. If you think I need a label then give me the one my mother gave me at birth. MY NAME. It's the only one I'll answer to. I get called emo a lot, It bothers me yes, but I will not change who I just so that I can get called a different label. I love how I dress, how I act and how I look. This is who I am. Accept it. If I change for you, then who will I ever be? Soemone wil always not agree with how I look or act. I might as well live life as I want to. | |

3307 points | Labeling generaly refers to a person. Like the first time you see a person s/he trips and falls flat on her/his ass. Labeling would be automaticaly thinking/being sure that person is a cluts.
Stereotypes are assumptions (good or bad) someone makes about a group of people based on a few examples.
Bigotrey is the same thing but a negative assumption about a group (generaly used with race) based on a few BAD examples, just an FYI thing
I dont know if you are complaining about being labeled as emo or the fact taht an emo steriotype exists. |

letting it effect you is silly.

Let's say you want to make friends with punkers, then you'd look for someone with a leather jacket or a backpack with BtMI! patches or someone who plasters their locker with Propagandhi and What Would Henry Rollins Do? stickers.
