I CANT BELIEVE IT... i used to work as a chef and used to run my hand over the top of oil
all the time to check it was hot ... and tonight I BLOODEY BURN MYSELF

AND NOW IT KILLS

Bugger Ay, thats gotta hurt!

I burnt mine tonite 2, on my hair straitner, it gets up to 200C and i touched a peice of hair i just straitned, lol DUH EL!

i have heaps of timesand i also have a ice cold cloth over it but it isnt helping...
i have to stop typing every few seconds so i can cool it down again lol

A cloth is only going to heat up after a while. Cold water on for 10 minutes will numb the area, cooling down the burning sensation and help.

thanks sazie.. ive done that and the cold cloth is about the only thing helping at the
moment.. even though it does heat up after a while

Sazzie is right, 10 minutes before a burn will stop burning, you have to keep your hand in cold iced water for 10 mins.
