todays the day my band (The mighty flying isaacs) are playing a gig for our friend's birthday/leaving do and in just 3 hours or so we'll be in front of abou 100 people....which is a little daunting.
we should be fine, we've practiced about every day the last 2 weeks but the nerves are just beginning to flare up a bit....oh geez. | |

I wish there was a way to record then i'd put it up here for all you lovely people.

The audience wasn't as much as we thought, it turned out to be just our little group of friends as everyone else rodgered off somewhere when we came on. our group of friends were only there out of politeness,
In terms of how we actually played we were pretty good, some mistakes here and there but no ones perfect. But it seemed god hated us. He made TWO of our amps go, so for the last half of the set we had just one guitar and bass, the audience looked more bored and gloomy.....was really demoralising.
might as well post the set (we played it in two stints with a break in between)
