I don't know really if it is insomnia exactly....but recently i've been having really really bad sleep, as in lack of it. couple of days ago i stayed awake till half 3, the other day about 4 and yesterday....a staggering half 5!
the sun was coming up and i was still awake, a lot has been on my mind recently which i think is the cause of it all, but do any of you tfs'ers have any known remedies for insomnia? | |

Minister 14178 points | | some warm milk m8, always does the trick for me, have a nice bath about 45 mins before bed, have the milk after bath, or even in bed reading a book, you have to distract the mind and tire the eyes, that should work - and i know it's silly but counting sheep really does work but you have to make sure they jump the fence cause it's the repetitive eye movements that make you sleepy |

maybe you should try to relax before bedtime..empty your mind..my dad used to tell me to imagine a worry tree..and hang all my worries on it before bedtime..ALL of them lol
or even listen to some soothing music.. |

unfortunately theres a hosepipe ban meaning baths are generally not allowed, and also unfortunately the music only seems to wake me up more. Reading a book seems to just bore me than make me tired, so majority of the time i find myself just sitting there trying hard not to turn telly on!
But way i see it...if i try going to sleep now, i can get a headstart, so nun night people! |
